Fr Shaun has thanked people for the continued support for our local foodbank. Items can still be sent into the primary schools as well. he points out that it is at this time of the year when our help is required more than ever. We donated lots during 2019 and are urged to do the same in 2020. Donations are very much appreciated by this great service.
Also if people have unwanted Christmas gifts these can be put to good use if handed into church so that a tombola stall can use them to help raise funds for the running of the three churches.
Many people come to mass in their car and it would be nice if people could car share or offer a lift to someone else By doing this we cause less congestion on the roads by the churches and we reduce the carbon footprint which will be in line with the initiatives supported by the bishop and the diocese to look after the environment. The developments at Wardley Hall are featured on the web site for the diocese.
